APOSAN® is the 1st brand to launch an injection for effective management of symptoms of Parkinson’s disease (PD). APOSAN® is used for treatment of motor fluctuations (“ON-OFF” phenomena) in patients with PD which are not sufficiently controlled by oral anti-PD medication. Desirable for patients with delayed response to oral medications (lasting 15-30 minutes or longer).

What is Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's disease is a progressive nervous system disorder that affects how the person moves, including how they speak and write.

  • Parkinson's disease belongs to a group of conditions called movement disorders. Movement disorders describe a variety of abnormal body movements that have a neurological basis
  • Symptoms start gradually, sometimes starting with a barely noticeable tremor in just one hand. Tremors are common, but the disorder also causes stiffness or slowing of movement
